BIO based polyols

for the polyurethane industry

About our product

Our Bio Polyol is a result of more than 50  years of experience in polymer science. Inventions by our scientific partner Institute of wood chemistry of Latvia were used in the Soviet Union’s spacecraft program, and the European Space Agency is presently working with the Institute on projects to develop polyurethane insulation materials for spaceship carriers.

Advantages

Competitive price

Our bio polyols are at the same price levels as fossil-based polyols.

Renewable source

We are using natural oils and side stream products from the wood industry.

Compatibility

Polylabs bio polyols have good compatibility with other polyols, blowing agents, isocyanate, and especially pentanes.

Low CO2 footprint

In comparison to the fossil based polyols, our bio polyols have significantly lower CO2 footprint, thus making the industry environmentally friendlier.

Green process

Production of our bio polyols does not create VOC.s & noxious by-products, making the production process green.

New opportunities

Our bio-based polyols provide new opportunities for existing polyurethane product upgrades with increased renewable bio carbon content and open doors for new green product lines.
